Respite care

Reliable Respite Care Designed to Support Both You and Your Loved One

Respite Care

Our respite care service provides support from carers when you feel like you need a break, or if you become ill, or you have to go into hospital, or are unable to carrying out your care and support duties for a loved one for any reason. During your absence, we provide trained experienced care workers who look after your family member or loved one, helping in their day-to-day requirements in terms of personal care, meal provision, medication and in other ways, such as cleaning, shopping, laundry and so on.

Before a respite service starts, a meeting is arranged during which an experienced member of staff meets with the client and their representative or loved one if applicable) to obtain the requisite information to ensure that we obtain a good understanding of the care and support to be provided and the best way of looking after the client.

The aim of our respite service is to allow you to recharge or tend to your own matters, safe in the knowledge that your loved one is being looked after by one of our friendly carers. Respite care can last anywhere from a few days to several weeks, enabling you to return to caring feeling refreshed and in better condition physically and mentally.
